The Concept Of Recall:

This is an area the INDEPENDENT Leave-the-EU Alliance consider worthy of detailed consideration. It is not a concept we believe that we can implement for the election of 2010, but it is a concept that clearly fits our agenda for elected office of INDEPENDENT members of an Alliance seeking to best represent their electorate, commencing in future elections.

We would appreciate any thoughts you may have on this subject and we will set out to collate the ideas towards first a principle of Recall and eventually a clearly laid out undertaking for implementation - Clearly as our candidates are INDEPENDENT it will be their decision whether to make that a personal commitment when they seek your vote.

It must be remembered that the single area of mandatory commonality of our candidates is to Leave-the-EU.

Clearly we do believe that it would help candidates of the INDEPENDENT Leave-the-EU Alliance to get elected and to best represent their electorate. There is likely to be a great deal more discussion of this issue after the 2010 General Election but we would suggest that candidates make it known that although not ready as a firm undertaking a concept of recall is being worked on and the INDEPENDENT Leave-the-EU Alliance would welcome the views of members and the public alike to draw up a concept of recall that best suited their requirements.
